About

The Centers for Housing Opportunity (CHO) coordinates regional responses to housing affordability in Connecticut. We believe equitable access to housing is key for thriving, healthy communities, and we collaborate with cross-sector partners to produce, preserve, and protect housing for people of all incomes, ages, and backgrounds. CHO is a program of The Housing Collective, LISC Connecticut, and Partnership for Strong Communities.

Each regional Center in Fairfield County, Litchfield County, and Eastern Connecticut operates as a place-based strategic partnership that brings together resources in advocacy, capacity building and convening, investment and lending, policy and practice, and research and data to address regional housing affordability.
