The Litchfield County Center for Housing Opportunity (LCCHO) facilitates a coordinated, regional response to address housing affordability in Litchfield County. LCCHO aligns and delivers critical resources including housing data, technical assistance for municipalities and nonprofit housing organizations, convening and community engagement support, education and advocacy programming tools, housing development capacity-building, communications support.

At LCCHO, we believe housing is an investment in our communities that will pay dividends now and into the future. Providing a range of housing opportunities for all income levels, ages, abilities, and household sizes will make our communities stronger and more resilient.

  • Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation

    Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation strengthens communities through philanthropy and leadership. Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation responds to regional priority issues while addressing their root causes, expanding the role of philanthropy as a force for change.
  • Foundation for Community Health

    Foundation for Community Health is a private, not-for-profit foundation serving the greater Harlem Valley of New York and the northern Litchfield Hills of Connecticut, FCH works to create the conditions required for health, well-being, and equity. To accomplish their mission, FCH makes grants, conducts research, provides technical assistance, and supports collaboration and advocacy.

    The Housing Collective harnesses the power of collective impact to provide equitable access to housing and ensure housing stability for all.

  • LISC Connecticut

    Since coming to Connecticut in 1984, LISC has invested more than $94 million in grants and loans. LISC works in cities including Bridgeport, Hartford, New Britain, New Haven, and Waterbury, helping local organizations develop affordable housing and create partnerships that strengthen neighborhoods by enhancing resident quality of life, expanding economic opportunity, and closing racial wealth, health, and opportunity gaps.
