Making Room at the Table

Hosted By

New research from the Centers for Housing Opportunity (CHO) reveals that renters, women, and non-white residents are underrepresented on land use boards in Connecticut's Fairfield and New London Counties, while 10% of land use board seats in both counties are vacant, and another 10% of members are serving in expired terms.

How can we make room at the table for more voices in local land use decision making? What are the barriers to participation in land use decision making? Land use commissioners, planners, and CHO staff will discuss these questions and more during this one-hour conversation.
