The Coalition on Diversity & Equity (CoDE) is a 501(c)3 nonpartisan, educational organization, serving the communities of Andover, Columbia, East Hampton, Hebron, and Marlborough. CoDE is led completely by volunteers, who are active members of their community. Our mission is to build more diverse, equitable and vibrant communities. Our goals include increasing community awareness and equal access to housing, education and jobs. 

Connecticut College educates students to put the liberal arts into action as citizens in a global society. The College promotes an understanding of local, regional, national, and international peoples, groups, cultures, and issues, and encourages students to take a life-long interest in them.

The Center for Social Impact connects community and campus to create high impact academic opportunities that address local, national, and global challenges and develop individuals committed to creating a more just and equitable world.

The Urban Institute is a nonprofit research organization that provides data and evidence to help advance upward mobility and equity. We are a trusted source for changemakers who seek to strengthen decisionmaking, create inclusive economic growth, and improve the well-being of families and communities. For more than 50 years, Urban has delivered facts that inspire solutions—and this remains our charge today.

The WCHT is a non-profit organization dedicated to establish and maintain affordable housing in the Town of Washington. With the help of Town, State and many generous donors, WCHT has developed 37 affordable apartments between its three properties. 

The Washington Housing Commission was established by a prior Board of Selectmen in 2005 with the intent of creating a template to study, analyze, and prioritize the housing needs, both current and long term of the Town of Washington's citizenry and to recommend and facilitate the accomplishment of the comprehensive housing policies and goals.
